PT Open XCR 24H 1ª etapa Abrantes, 6 horas

Boas pedaladas,

Dados;
Média de 11.2 km/h
Distancia  58,47 km
Tempo a pedalar 5:11:40 horas
Tempo Oficial: siim
Calorias consumidas 4425...

Pedaladas boas,

Good rides,

At the beginning I ran the 24H MTB events in teams - that's how I started - in recent years I've made the 6H solo or in team with my stepson António.

This year, 1st time in Abrantes city, I was present with my "LuxO", great machine this bike, and its lightness is very evident.

The course was very technically demanding, with the importance that any mishap in the many descents could give the right to fall... There were some...

12:00:00pm we run like the 24H of Le Mans, for us, towards the bikes, I had six hours ahead, this year without my usual staff, which prepares me some things!

In the first lap, I literally "touched" the ground I fall to the grass on a curve! What are the technical areas, special cares to have, where the spots to block the suspension and where to fully open, the places do not hang with the front, in resume what should be fixed so many times we will pass there...

I take more than half an hour each lap, 3rd was fast, the better one, on a total of 9, when I stopped to measure my glicemy and supplying a bit.

The high value the fast contrasted with the 94 mg/dL at 13:34pm. "Carlos" tagliatelle a banana and a bite of a protein Vitargo bar and went back to the 4th, the worst, I've a hypo even drinking water with Vitargo Gel...

I finishing my fourth lap, reached the goal line I stopped there, the support table was filled with calories delicacies, raisins and dry figs were the "lubricant" some peanuts with salt, a conversation with people who ride in teams, I "discovered" a diabetic who never listening about blue O Project. He told me he eat all, during MTB events, "I burn everything" I said! I was reminded of my "hypers” during the events compels me to stop because of cramps, not good, as all that are the extremes!

The route was easy to remember, it was faster "half time" with 5 or 6 points requiring particular care in its transposition.

It was 15:43pm I stopped for new measurement, I published the value, while resting, I ate an apple, another bite at the bar, dry figs, the Vitargo Gel was already diluted by the 2nd time...

My legs they stand up, could be from the running’s that I have imposed myself, as a way of training, lack of time to something more serious and coordinated?

I make my "accounts" around 17pm, my last passages on the goal line I put isotonic drink on my water bottle offered by the organization and I even clenched a "madalena" cake, I was two laps to finish. I finished 16 minutes passed 18pm.

Some data:
Average 11.2km/h
Distance 58.47km
Cycling time 5:11:40hours
Official Time: siim
4425 calories burned...

Rides good,
casf
