Há muito que não corria 10km, seguidos e sem parar.
De manhã com 156mg/dL coloquei as mesmas unidades de insulina mas abri um pouco mais O "apetite"! Faço-me entender?!
Antes do almoço acusei uma hipo.
Mantem-te activo, a cOrrer, porque não!
Long time ago I didn't running 10k, followed, without stopping.
Morning with 156mg/dL I had the normal insulin units, but a bit more "appetite"... Do I make myself clear?!
Before lunch I accused a hypo.
Keeps you active, running, why not?!

- So, Mr you have grapes?
- Yes! (He replay with precise name and location where stood the vineyards)...
- Oh, and does the vintage? The other day we help a friend from Tomar...
- Of course I do.
- Here we only have water and juices, not even beer!!!
The two organization guys reported they wanted that too, but this year there were no chance. Another local "stress" they - organization - had all drunk last night. They persist "when we came yesterday to mark the track, stopping at all "taverns" has its consequences"...
In the middle of my bites, I was pissed off with me not having a machine to record all...
- And could we have a little to taste it?
- From my “drips”? I’ll fetch a carboy...
- Just to taste it!!!
The two organizations members said: "Oh man, now we have to stay longer, and you where the last from the big marathon!"
- Yes Sir, it's a good “drop”. Next year you say when, we came to help the harvest and take the test again!...
I quote a last sentence at the end of this supply - from the most emotive I attended to - notable the way it was said: "You could carry a couple of flies, there are plenty here!"
After about 10km, next the track - on a rural road - was perfectly installed a group of friends who prepared something:
Tomar take forward:
- There are here someone who do the vintage?
- Oh!!! Don’t tell the others track is here! Of course there is wine to drink? Do you want?...
- If there is, we can taste it! These pans are bigger!?
- Only there's soup (the pot boiling potatoes and Portuguese kales)...
Watching the last episode and because my "cycling is from another ride type", I followed with the certainty that I would pick up later on. Every time I come to Proença the heat squeezes hard, which leads to a constant hydration, aided by several sources distributed along the route. The accumulated was increasing, and again in the village of Pergulho, if there had been a separation of races, there, again we joined. Overhead was the windmill, all recovered by Proença-a-Nova Forest Producers Association. On this 2nd supply I hydrated, eat a banana and dry cake, from here 10km to the end.
In the end I knew by an organization member, the chanfana - a Portuguese dish with old meat - was well served, "Tomar team" had stayed to taste it, arriving at windmill a little delayed.
I had a swimming practice.
I ask a triathlon equipment loaned to blue O Sérgio Moreira, and I sweated enough training.
I prepared myself for two weeks in an attempt to copy the transitions, except for swimming, logistics don’t let me do everything! In my amateur version, but sports passionate, triathlon, it was part of those to try. Currently it feels like I have it traversed in my throat...
I struggled to not forget anything at home - transitions and the material to leave on the parks left me stressed. At fasting I had 152mg/dl, whit I would expend in sport effort, I didn’t touched in sweets and put one unit of fast insulin, and reduce 2 base units.
My stress galloped, whiles leaving my sneakers on Transitional Park 1, my Canyon Ultimate AL was already in the truck who carry the bikes. I went to the bus out to Capinha dam. With the 4 athletes I spoke - veterans - everyone tranquilized me, one is my friend.
Already in the dam I was seeking dorsal, swim cap and ship.
