Trail do Xisto: 22K

Boas caminhadas,

Corridas boas,
casf

My English version:

Good runs,

The first 10min. from an excellent trail running event was when I collect my dorsal number, Catarina saw him! Over there was Carlos Sá, you didn't seen him?! I can say we were privileged to have a private "gathering" with Carlos Sá. He knew blue O Project, speak about trail running in general, from his projects, the diabetic girl present in 'Coast Chanllenge' and even encouraged my child to practice... what more he please!

At fasting I had 91mg/dL, didn't take fast insulin, reduce basal ¼ and ate "to go to work." Before the race, 3h after breakfast, I was wrong having fast insulin, convinced that would be high, meanwhile I ate a banana, without measured my blood glucose!

Up to Gondramaz requires leg power, balance, and this time, it seems to me, they invested in climbing, the "avoidable" hypo stopped me, I noticed a 'blurred" vision - me, who like to take some pictures - took the opportunity to eat and enjoy the views...

Up there was my family, the incentives from the presences and Emanuel, a friend I met at last, in flesh.
The second time I left there with food in my hand and running but I was apprehensive. I programmed some strengthening legs and I was there tested the "machine". In the 2nd supply I measured 221mg/dL, the effort was smaller and the race pace was flowing very good but I admit, I exceed on the food...

I reached finish line and the speaker put me to talk. "Castelo Branco, and next year I'll be here again with my diabetes" I said... Followed by some massages. I went relaxed to a hot bath, like I never had on any event. I get wet much more searching for participating restaurants than on the 23K, but I made up with the roast beef in the oven Baker.

I said the event was excellent? Was the best, my diabetes enjoy with everything to that was right!

Run good,
